My beautiful bride Theresa...

This was a wedding to remember....Linda and I were our brides and her family guests....Theresa was what made this wedding so much fun....she was having the time of her life!!!! the DJ came from NY city they had so many gadgets!!!! and the guest were having so much fun...The wedding was held at The ALDRICH MANSION In Warwick....OH My God...This PLACE IS UNBELIVABLE...THE VIEW IS SPECTACULAR....THE STAFF IS AMAZING....THE FOOD IS GREAT.....during the months that we were trying to design this wedding, we made so many trips to the Alrich Mansion, and what I was impressed by was the fact no matter how many times my bride called for us to go back and finilize all the details, The staff always treated us like it was the first time they met us....always accomodating and happy to see us...we were there a lot!!!my staff and I were very impressed how professional, but accomodating, and friendly they were, and since we were there for reception, The service was great, and they were very accomodating.

This is me dancing with the bride,,,,not only we did her flowers and everybody said they were beautiful...i will post pictures of them, we became her and her family's florist but we have become friends, and part of her family....THAT'S WHY I LOVE DOING WHAT I DO........

Sorry I haven't written in a few days but it's a crazy time Valentine"s preparation....very time consuming....not much time for anything else...work, work, work...I wanted to share this picture with you, it at Morning Glory's work room on our ribbon cutting day showing off all the certificates we received from our town and the state reps. we were so tired it wasn't even funny....the woman in the white shirt is Linda and I'm in black...we figured we would share with you because it was a very special day for us...well actually i wanted to post the picture of Linda when we went to Vegas but she would kill me if I did, so I promised I would be a good girl and post this one...someday i might post the other one though it's so funny!!!! well OK i will try to keep up with my entries ....see you soon Mel

SUNDAY!!!

Hi everybody!!!!
I know it's been a while!!! Well since the New Year I'm sorry I haven't been writing It seems after the Holidays there is more work to be done, we had to take down all the Christmas decorations at Morning Glory, it was kind of sad Christmas is my favorite Holiday, I love all the decorations, and the Christmas trees, and just the way everything looks so festive...the shop looked so naked without all the beautiful, greenery garlands, and decorations, so we started to decorate for Valentine...unfortunately being the first year for all of our holidays we don't have many decorations but slowly we are getting some a little bit at the time. Plus when you don't have many store bought decorations, you have to use your imagination to come up with some unique ideas... And trying to get organized!!!!!!! This is a challenge to stay organized!!!! Spent some time with friends, at the store trying to come up with different displays with Meredi for her cards and coming up with specials with Cynthia from Chocolate Dreams for Valentine's day where we can incorporate CHOCOLATES & ROSES...that's what Valentine is all about, romance, roses, chocolates.....hmmmmm can't wait...Valentine is my other favorite Holiday...IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ROMANCE!!!!!! NEW YEAR "2009"

Hope everybody is enjoying the New Year!!! It's been a great day it always is when you spend time with all the special people in your life....Spend New Years Eve at home with my husband and one of my sons.....it was quiet and relaxing....But I did miss the rest of my family, but the weather wasn't so great so we decided to stay home and got together today....stopped by Morning Glory this morning for a little while because we closed yesterday because of the weather....it's unbelievable how weired it felt missing one day....some of my friends saw my van and stopped by to wish me a Happy New Year it was great seeing them...it makes the Holiday complete....well tomorrow is back to normal....I'm kind of looking forward to it.... I WISH EVERYBODY A HAPPY AND HEALTHY, PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR.....well again thanks for listening....MEL
